At this price, I wasn’t expecting much. Unfortunately, I got even less. The tiny scissors aren’t sharp enough to cut the thread. The hinge on the thin plastic box is broken so that it doesn’t stay closed. Even for the most basic sewing needs, this kit won’t do.

I should have paid attention to the one review given. Not worth the price, actually would have been over priced at $2.95.

This little sewing kit is just fine for $7.95. I am taking it to travel for three months. Its small, lightweight, has all the tools, and has a good variety of thread colors. The case closes and the scissors work just fine. I guess the other reviewers got a bad one. I am glad I purchased it despite the other bad reviews.
